I have vivid memories of
spending break times
at school anxiously
filling in questionnaires
in the careers department.
Only two things were clear
to me: I wanted to
communicate in
foreign languages every
day and I wanted to help
people.
I am energised by
the independence and
adventure of being a
freelancer, and am
increasingly convinced that
collaboration is the
best way forward.
Those wishes remain true.
But as I have grown in
self-awareness and
discovery over the years,
I have also realised
that I love strategising,
Crafting my own freelance
business has meant that I
have been able to integrate
all these areas into my
translation, editing,
proofreading and
consultancy services.
And it must be said that
I’m having a lot of fun
along the way!
